Hi All

I was wondering if someone knew of a Composer alternative for Windows?

Thanks

Eric

I would also be interested to know of such a thing. We are in the process of implementing MDT for our Windows deployments and I could do with a tool that does what Composer does but for Windows, for applications where there isn't a known silent install process.

Thanks,

Jamf customer here - if you're in a windows mixed environment there is a Jamf competitor that has a multi-os solution that would work.

There's lots of alternatives to Composer for packaging for Windows but the top two are: Flexera InstallShield/AdminStudio
Advanced Installer

The now defunct WISE packaging tool was pretty great... but I wouldn't use it anymore. Also be mindful that although few Windows installers use them MSIX is the new packaging standard and MSI is deprecated.

Of course you can use the ORCA tool from the Windows Developer kit and hand roll your own packages too, but if you wanted to spend time like that you wouldn't be asking these questions here! :-)
