Computer Name Changing

It seems a resent update from Apple is causing problems. In the past I had the hostname/computer name locked so it couldn't change. But that has changed recently. Now computers are slowly incrementing there names. IE

mycomputer(1)
mycomputer(2)
mycomputer(3)

Has anyone run into this and know how to stop it.

Thanks!

An issue with 10.10 and a Bonjour will cause that behaviour, and the client will try to fix itself through automatic conflict resolution. Disabling the Wake for Network Access will prevent the client from registering with the proxy. You'll also likely have to power cycle the devices with Bonjour Sleep Proxy.

Thank you for the response. I started looking into this further. And this is affecting all versions of OSx we have: 10.8.* to 10.10.* Some suggested turning off Wake for Network access which does not seem to help. It may also be the Power Nap feature. Im going to look further into this. If anyone else has ideas let me know!
