Just an FYI, we reported an issue with LDAP Group email notification. JAMF investigated and came back with defect D-007059.
Possible workarounds would be to use LDAP User account, or set up an LDAP service account.

Hey Don, This was identified as D-007059. Code was implemented in 9.9 to resolve the issue. Members of LDAP Groups starting with 9.9 are no longer presented with an option to receive email notifications. Specified LDAP accounts or local user accounts will receive emails as expected. This is to mimic how it's worked going back to the 8 series - what you're seeing in 9.x was a UX issue. Thanks! XXXXXXXXXXX JAMF Software
