+10Is there a program out there that is a "chat", similar to AIM, so when users log in to the computer they are automatically logged into the chat and can be "chatted" to from other users in our organization?

Openfire works well once you invest a little effort into configuration. It can tie into AD groups so that everyone in a group sees all other contacts in the group.

If you have O365, Skype for Business is there and ready to go. I've also heard good things about HipChat.
