We have users who mindlessly backup their iPads and iPhones to their company computers, taking up a lot of space on their drive, is there an easy clean way to disable their ability to do this?
+5Sounds like another HR problem that has to be fixed by the Tech Department ;-)
One solution would be to create a recurring policy with a script to remove the location where the backups are stored:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
+7Not a bad idea...would rather something elegant that didn't allow them to do it in the first place but not bad!
