Disable ability to backup IOS devices?

We have users who mindlessly backup their iPads and iPhones to their company computers, taking up a lot of space on their drive, is there an easy clean way to disable their ability to do this?

Sounds like another HR problem that has to be fixed by the Tech Department ;-)

One solution would be to create a recurring policy with a script to remove the location where the backups are stored:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

Not a bad idea...would rather something elegant that didn't allow them to do it in the first place but not bad!
