Disable the upgrade to Yosemite notification

Is it possible to block or disable the Upgrade to Yosemite ad that keeps coming up in notifications without blocking all SU notifications?

    I see pete_c's method blocks the banner in the "Updates" pane of the App Store, but does it also block the notification that appears in the upper right corner of Macs that are more than one major OS X version behind? Those are the ones I'd love to block.
