Do you use Mac server or Windows Servers/VM for file sharing for your users?

Hello all,

We are in the process of changing file servers and my question is do you use a Mac Server for you file sharing or Windows? And if it is Windows how? VM? ExtremeZ-IP?

    This may not be appropriate for you, but we don't use either. Our servers are Linux and we connect using NFS. For any Windows machines, we use Linux boxes to act as samba gateways.

    We use Windows 2008 R2 as virtual servers. Packages delivered with IIS over HTTPS.

    Jared, have you had any issues with distributing packages via http? I know in the Mac version of JSS you have the option to use the AFP protocal, it usually helps when some clients aren't receiving the packages via http.
