I have uploaded an ePO agent package to our Casper server. I have created a policy with that package. As soon as that policy runs, I get an error:

"The network connection was interrupted while downloading the package from https://spcsjccasjds01.spirentcom.com/CasperShare/ePOagent.pkg. Attempting to reconnect..."

"Error: ePOagent.pkg is not available on the HTTP server."

Does anyone have any idea why this happens? The package is about 23MB in size. Is it a size issue?

Thanks
Corina

Do other packages download via policy from that share would be my first question.

If you have more than one distribution point make sure you have replicated to the one the machine is using.
Also I think you will get that error even if you just can't connect to the server (even if the pkg is there) so check credentials etc... on the distribution point settings and that the distribution point is functioning correctly.

"The network connection was interrupted while downloading the package from https://spcsjccasjds01.spirentcom.com/CasperShare/ePOagent.pkg. Attempting to reconnect..."

This error though seems to hint at resumable download failing. There is a 5 minute window for resumable downloads (unless Jamf increased it?). If user is on Wi-Fi, the number/frequency of network issues goes up, and sleep can cause resumable downloads to fail.

"Error: ePOagent.pkg is not available on the HTTP server."

+1 on checking that the file is replicated across your DPs.

Holding my breath for BitTorrent to be supported for downloads. :)
