Did anybody ever had a problem with a distribution point that suddenly missed every data?
Today our distribution point suddenly missed everything except the standard folders that are created automatically by the JSS. Inside the standard folders everything is gone. The folders where created around the time when the data disappeared.
On the server (Windows 2008 R2) only two persons have access and the rights to delete this folders. And this two persons didn't work on the server today nor used the Casper Suite tools at this time. On the server only the JSS is running. What I know is that a client was imaging at the time it happened and in the middle of the imaging process the client got an error message and closed the Casper Imaging tool. After that the distribution point was empty.
In the logfiles on the server I don't see anything that explains the problem.
The good: Fortunately we have a working backup and can get back everything. :-)
