First Thank you to all who post here. I am very new to this community and rely on you.

Our company has file vault 2 enabled and we are trying to automate the move from Catalina to Monterey. I have been able to successfully upgrade the test machine to Monterey. Everything works as expected until after the upgrade completes. Once a user logs in and reboots File Vault 2 wants the admin password to encrypt. This is after file vault was setup in Catalina.

Does anyone have any suggestions? i would greatly appreciate it.

@nstuto That is not the normal behavior for FileVault after a macOS upgrade. How are you forcing FileVault, and are  you doing something to disable FileVault during the upgrade setup process?

There is a File Vault 2 configuration profile that handles just file vault 2. That profile was setup before I started here. i will look at that.
