Just playing around with the Files app in iOS 13 and the ability to connect to smb servers. Is there a way to configure this within the Jamf mdm that anyone knows of?

While not a direct answer to your questions, the EBF Files app does support what you are looking for in some fashion. They do support AppConfig for device configuration. Best of luck!

Hello. Any further info on this? Our agency has been using FileExplorer for a number of years, but now that Files natively supports SMB shares, it would be nice to get away from third party software. I too am very interested in whether or not Jamf Pro can send out a pre-configured SMB share setting to multiple users' iOS and iPadOS devices.

This is not a perfect solution, but you can create a web clip. Ex:  smb://fileserver.yourdomain.com/path

It will open in files.app.
