I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior? We are enabling filvault via Jamf Pro policy with a require filevault at next login. We are seeing cases where jamf reports some machines as having only the boot partition encrypted and others where Jamf reports all partitions encrypted. We don't use multiple partitions for our machines so no dice there. It's strange because these machines are all being enrolled the same exact way. This issue isn't OS related as Jamf's reporting the same on Mac's with Catalina and Big Sur. Any help would be appreciated.

Benny, did you get this sorted? Having a similar issue as well.

Unfortunately, I did not. According to Jamf, as long as one of the partitions is showing as encrypted then that means the whole partition is encrypted. I verified this by checking on a number of devices showing "boot partitions encrypted" This was good enough for my auditors so I left it as is. I'm sure there's an EA out there that can report more successfully.
