I need advice and blog posts articles etc. about why turning on FileVault for the first time without any preparation is a bad idea. My environment has over 1000 Macs with AD mobile accounts, no externalization (yet), and no password synchronization tool. We already have problems with passwords going out of sync.
We are upgraded now and well into planning out the way forward.
