I am trying to create a smart group matching the App Identifier. I tried to use the bundle id I have in the iOS app Xcode project, the bundle ID I ship to apple with. When I use the smart group as a scope in a profile it does not work.

How do I choose the correct App Identifier?

Isnt the app identifier listed as part of the App's URL?

So,

I have the URL, but, I am not sure what "App Identifier" means? What is that supposed to be? The bundle id? I tired that and it didn't seem to work.

Its the series of numbers in the URL following "id". In the example above it would be 490096965.

This doesn't seem to work either. I'm using the number found the VPP app's URL, but the searches never match. I've also tried the bundle identifier and that doesn't seem to work either.

Just a wild guess, maybe you need the bundle identifier. Example: Garage Band is com.apple.garageband10
