Guys is there a way to image with the connection to a JSS being down, but we still have access to our JDS and netboot servers as they are hosted locally?

I was thinking there may be a way to image and then add them to Casper later on once the JSS connection is back.

Thoughts?

@Hafiz The JSS holds the imaging configuration, so no.

@bentoms If I have access to a database backup and quickly create a second JSS and then pump the backup into the second JSS. And then I should be able to target drive image the Macs, yes? Maybe netboot install won't work - yes, no?

And then once the connection fiasco is over we can re-join the Macs to the original Casper.
Does that sound like a workable plan?

@Hafiz maybe.. I'd really advise getting the JSS "connection fiasco" resolved before attempting any imaging.
