I've successfully changed the homepage on both Safari and Chrome using custom scripts. But since the values becomes company managed, the user is not allowed to change them back again. Is there any command or recommendations I can do to allow this?

+12For Chrome, you may be better off with a Google Chrome Master Preference file for items you want to set as default on first launch, but allow users to change:

This would only work for first launch. This won't work for users who are already Google Chrome users who have preferences already created.
