hpprinterdrivers5.0 + 10.12.6 hangs at installation

Has anyone tried to install the Apple hp printer drivers v5.0 package on a 10.12.6 Mac? It seems to hang at the running scripts portion at the end.

    I have installed it using AutoDMG without issues as a mounted pkg installer called by a script.
