I have a user who has iCloud setup on their corporate machine, their account instead of being the standard 500 local user ID has a User ID 12345678 digits. This usually tells me its tied to the iCloud/Apple ID the password cannot be changed locally we get a message within Users and groups that the Administrator has disallowed password changes. terminal does not work and neither does changing there Apple ID. I want to avoid creating a new account I just want to convert it back to a local 500 account.

Just curious is the machine bound to active directory? I typically see user accounts with that high of a user ID and disallowed password changes when it’s a mobile AD user instead of local

These accounts are not mobile and not bound to AD.
