We are having an issue with random packages giving ASR input/output errors all of a sudden.

Anyone ever seen anything like this or any clues on where to look? I have a case with JAMF and Apple on it already.

It's randomly different (usually large 500MB+) packages and all of our distribution points. So one machine will come down fine, then imaging off same port, same config, I'll get ASR errors on 2-3 larger packages in the config.

I'm trying to install the same larger packages via self service to see if I get any file copy errors.

Thanks.

Oh and these are packages that have worked fine for us for months.

I've rebooted servers, fixed permissions, verified disks, etc.

I freaked this morning when we had problems imaging too - after working late on the server last night. I thought I had royally screwed something up.
It turns out the technician trying to image a machine neglected to plug in the network cable ;)
