Has anyone else had any success importing the MCX manifest for Google
Chrome?

http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=187945

I've followed the instructions on the JSS page for importing, converting the
plist into XML format, but when I try to import the plist is grayed out.

Ideas?

I struggled with this same issue, but I finally resolved it by trying the following: I used a different browser and the greyed out problem went away

If you right click on the com.google.Chrome.manifest file, click Show Package Contents and there is another com.google.Chrome.manifest file that should import into your JSS

Use the one inside the Chrome.app

/Google Chrome.app/Contents/Resources/com.google.Chrome.manifest/Contents/Resources/com.google.Chrome.manifest

Imported this one fine, and all the prefs work great through casper.

I created a feature request to have these uploaded manifests become permanent templates.
