We're rolling out JAMF to our site now and I had a question about configuring new machines. How does one configure a "new" machine without touching the rest of the enterprise? Normally, I would image, but we're supposed to be moving away from that. How can I specifically target a "new" machine? Am i thinking of this wrong? Or is it just a bunch of run once on the enterprise machines?

If you want to tarde a new machine I would use exclusion. That way I could create a smart group that would exclude machines already setup, that way every new computer would fall out of that category. You could write a bom file in every enrolled Mac in order to differentiate new machines from already configured ones.
