I have been upgrading our Jampro (Windows Server) "manually" every time there is a new release. A few years ago Jamf Support had advised me to use the manual installer since it was the method that had been previously used. Does anyone have any experience with switching between the installers and why one method would be preferred over another?

+10Personal preference is a big part of it I think. There has also been installers that have failed or had problems as well in the past. I have used both methods on windows and linux installs and I prefer the installer. As long as you get things up and running I don't think it really matters how you got there.
