iOS 12 massive upgrade command blocked by passcode !?

Hi everybody,
I need to update 600+ devices to iOS 12; I'm doing tests on few devices. When I send the command through JAMF, the download starts but it doesn't get installed automatically (because of the passcode?). I have to put in the passcode, go to Settings and select "Install". Any ideas? Thank you. - Alessio
