iOS individual app restrictions

I have deployed several apps to some iPads. Under Settings>General>MDM Management>MDM Profile>Apps>Any of the Apps it gives me a list of Restrictions, one of which is "App will not import data from unmanaged apps and accounts."

Is there any way to remove this restriction? I would like to be able to import data from an app called Metamoji (I work in a school) and this seems to be blocking it.

You need to remove that device from scope in the JSS.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by "scope." There are a lot of places that "scope" is used. Also, I do not want the configuration to come off of the iPad, nor do I want the app to come off of the iPad, just the restriction on that individual app, Google Drive, for instance.
