Hi All,

Hopefully this will be an easy question to answer...

I am looking to see how I can connect my internal Active Directory with my Jamf hosted platform.

I know there are instructions on using the Jamf infrastructure manager, but i find these instructions to be clear as dishwater!

Is the only way to setup the link bettwen JSS and our local AD, using JIM?

Yep use JIM.

We got it working with just a little help from Jamf .. it's not as bad as the directions read.. : )

So you have a VM within the DMZ with JIM installed and that then talks to your local AD?

So using the cloud offering we still need a DMZ and all the issues we have already with that? i dont see the point in changing then as we are going to need a dmz server at every school that needs AD authentication?
