It would be nice if there was a "vacation" setting for JAMF parent. When students are home for long breaks it would be nice if we didn't need to turn of all of our weekly settings.
+14Sounds like a good idea. You can request features and changes in jamf Nation under Community > Create New Feature Request.
Check first by searching for "jamf parent" in the normal search on jamf Nation and change the result view to Feature Requests and see if someone has already done a request.
+3hmm yes would be a good request. However you might want to up vote the ability to use locations in a JAMF Pro scope as well. In ZuluDesk now JAMF School we've able to create a device group with a scope of the location for as long as it's been a product. It allows us to scope profiles like a whitelist, restrictions etc which installs once the student device checks in at school and then removes when it checks at home. Also handy when the students are away, sick etc
