Hi All,

We have jamf pro distribution points at two sites that serve packages to 500+ clients per site. At the moment the DPs at each site serve packages to their respective local clients. However if one of the server fails the clients would have to get packages from next available DP.

What network solutions are needed if we wanted to ensure bandwidth throttling to 1gb without saturating inter site link?

Distribution points are servers used to host files for distribution to computers and mobile devices. The following types of files can be distributed from a distribution point using Jamf Pro: Packages. Scripts. In-house apps.
