We don't use MAIDs with ASM, so take my advice with a grain of salt...
It looks like you aren't seeing anything in the dropdown, because you may not have any user groups enabled to use Jamf Teacher. Try making a group with teachers following this (see step 6) and see if you can select them to make any progress.
Also, do you see the classes show up in Jamf School under the Classes page? Note the source if you see any. I would imagine if the sync is happening, there will be classes synced from ASM.

I think that is the issue - We have 1 main primary location TOP LEVEL - Muhlenberg School District - then we have 4 buildings under that - Muhlenberg Elem which is where all the users and groups and classes are imported to from SIS - IC to ASM then from ASM to JAMF School - MEC
So at the top location no teachers are students are in those groups because the are at the lower level of MEC
Hi did you get it fixed? Im having same issues at my work
I am having this same issue. One primary location and then 7 school buildings. I need one teacher group to enable Jamf Teacher, but none of my teachers are in the primary location. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks!
If you have multiple locations you have to make a User Group for Teachers in each location. Example you had locations Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary you would make groups KG Teachers for Kindergarten, ES Teachers for Elementary and SS Teachers for Secondary (You can name the groups anything you want). For each of the groups, select the group and click edit and change the Status setting under Features > Jamf School Teacher to Allow and this should populate all synced classes for Teachers in each location.

I actually contact Jamf School support and they had me create an All Teachers group manually at the top level and somehow, all the teacher just automatically get added. Then in settings I allow that group to use Jamf Teacher under the Apple School Manager settings.
