Hey Nation,

we try to setup jamf2snipe (https://marketplace.jamf.com/details/snipe-it/) for our Snipe-IT Instance and ran in some issues with it.

When we doing a dry run in our testenviroment we alway get this Errormessage:

When we tried to retreive a list of models, Snipe-IT responded with error status code:404 - b'<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found</h1> <p>The requested URL /api/v1/models was not found on this server.</p> </body></html> ' Snipe models API endpoint failed.

I have no clue about API's so may someone of you can help?

You're getting a 404 (Page not found) error. I don't know anything about Snipe, but have you enabled its API functionality?

For those just tuning in, the error is resulting from a syntax error on a designated url on the settings.conf file.  Mine was the URL of my Snipe instance (it mistakenly included a forward slash after the url).  It should read:

http://your_snipe_instance.com
