For anyone who's been using the script that modifies the Java 7 Preference to turn off the "Check for Updates" function, the script has been updated. It now removes the Launch Agent that checks for updates and suppresses the update prompt when opening a Java app while using an older version of Java. We'll have to test it and run it after installing each new version of Java.
Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions for improving it, or what your results are in using it.
