JDS connection rror

When trying to replicate JSS to JDS authentication keeps failing with this error in the ssl_error log:
"access to /CasperShareDAV/ failed, reason: user 'our_user' does not meet 'require'ments for user/
valid-user to be allowed access"

The name in the JDS section of the JSS is listing this user correctly.

Question: does this user also need to be a registered user on the JDS? The JDS documentation does not specify how this connection is made.

    Any update on this??

    I'm am receiving this error and haven't been able to find a fix...

    I'm also seeing this error, but only with the read+write account. Our read only account works just fine.

    Anyone find/know a fix for this?

    For me, ping was being blocked. We got it fixed by unblocking ping outgoing from the clients.
