For anyone planning Mini Events this year and wondering about timing, the JNUC schedule will be similar to last year. Monday and Tuesday evenings are completely open for Mini Events. Sessions will run from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM each day. On Wednesday night, we're planning a larger JNUC 'gathering', and Thursday will close with a Happy Hour at the Guthrie ending around 4:30 PM.
We're really hoping Mini Events will help facilitate professional meet-ups and networking opportunities while everyone is in town. They can be as simple as a morning coffee for Iowa K-12 admins, a group table at lunch discussing load balancers, or an evening Segway tour along the riverfront. They're easy to create by anyone, and you can see them all here:
