Please have a look at my Feature Request "Deploy Mobile Device Apps via Automated Management" https://www.jamf.com/jamf-nation/feature-requests/7999/deploy-mobile-device-apps-via-automated-management

I think this would benefit ALL of us regardless if in education or not.

The ability of installing Mobile Device Apps should be far easier than what we have now.

Thanks,
Kevin Krawchuk

I know such functionality has been requested before, my request is for it to be added to Automated Management is partially in the hope that its easier to implement for JAMF.. Hopefully it will gain some traction, the other requests seem to be stagnant.

A more descriptive subject line would GREATLY help.

I tried to edit the subject and or delete and re post but I cant do either, it was not intentional to have just posted as the subject... my bad.

I'm confused....

Automatically install an application from a Smart Groups automated management option instead of using a smart group to scope automatic installation from an App?

Right now we have to add the smart group to each app, 1 by 1. I want to list the apps all in one place (automated management) that I want a Smart Group to install..

i.e. filter an app in the automated management tab, click add, filter another app click add and so on. Build a list of apps that once the smart group is scoped, the listed apps that I quickly filtered and addded are automatically installed to all scoped devices. We would use that one smart group to scope the apps to either the entire district or each school(s). With this method it would save us MASSIVE amounts of time.
