This is totally unrelated, but I'm just looking for some suggestions:

We have many Crestron podiums where we have both a PC and a MacMini. We
bought a USB switcher and want to use only one keyboard, so that the
podium top is not crowded, in case a prof wants to use his/her laptop. I
will need something that has the Apple symbols, though, as well as the
PC symbols, otherwise end-users get completely confused. (it is what it
is...) Anyhow, the only one I know about is the Logitech "wave" layout.
Is there anything better out there that anyone here is using? I will
continue looking. Just curious.

Thanks,

Uh.....that's a $120 keyboard! : )

I know that this is probably not the answer you want, but we use to have to supply a Mac keyboard in our dual platform lecture halls for the simple fact that we couldn’t get anything else to work right for the EJECT button for a G5 Tower where the CD-Rom tray is behind the front of the box. Now that those are gone and Mini units are in instead a lot of them have been switched back to Dell keyboards.

In either case neither side of the house Windows users or Macs users have cared or really complained. To my point, I don’t think you need to make special accommodations and teachers can learn to live with it. In most cases the Mac keyboard was the better option since it did tend to have labels for what WAS the ALT key, and we did put blue dot stickers on the keys for CTRL+ALT+DEL for Windows users.

Just my two cents.
