Mac clients reporting old SUS address

Within my environment i have about 7 servers, which are each located locally in a given office to serve updates amongst other things to their local clients. Clients are then via network segment directed to their local SUS to get their updates.

However im finding that a good number of my mac clients are reporting an old SUS address within /Library/Preferences/com.apple.softwareupdate.plist or even odder , they don't have mention of the URL at all!

Does anyone know why this would be and what i need to do in casper to force the client to update it's catalogURL ?

I've tried the basics, like rebooting. But I'm not what to do next.

    I should add that The SUS is being set via network segments defined in the JSS

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think defining through network segments translates to an MCX setting. You may want to flush out your MCX and let it come back down again.

    sudo dscl . -delete /Computers/localhost
sudo rm -rf /Library/Managed Preferences
sudo jamf mcx

    reboot for good measure.
