I like a lot of what IBM is doing, but one of the things that concern interested parties at my employer is the users with full admin rights and their ability to download their own software and install it. How do they (the mac@IBM team) handle audits and licensing? Or is it more of the wild west and just hope for the best?

I would like to know this as well. I know auditors in my organization would go crazy even considering this.

I would think that they would have a sort of "best practices" mentality. If a user is installing any application, I would assume they paid for it. We the use of self service, apps like Adobe would still be distributed and accounted for properly.
