MacBook Air (MBA)- Printing Issues

Does anyone on the list have MBAs in their environment? If so, any issues
printing? I'm using a 10.5.4 image built on MBP 2.6 using retail OS
installer. I can setup print queues but when I send a print job it gets
stuck in the queue with a message it'll try in a few seconds. I have no
trouble printing from a MBP 2.4 using the same image wired or wirelessly.
Ran 10.5.5 combo updater on MBA with no luck.

Rebuilt the MBA using retail OS installer and updated to 10.5.4 and no
issues printing.

Any thoughts/suggestions on how to trouble shoot this is appreciated.

    If memory serves me, you cannot use anything but the MBA retail disk to do
    the install. There are some differences in the MBA and other devices. So,
    you have to have a separate image for your MBA and MBP.

    I have MBAs here, and I use the MBA drop in disk to do the installs.

    Thanx for your input. Not sure if I shared this...re-imaged using the image
    created on a MBP and printing worked fine on the newly re-build MBA. As it
    stands though I'm not comfortable using my MBP image on MBA so created a
    separate image on MBA using installers that came with it.

    I also contacted JAMF Support regarding this issue and Sam came up with a
    great idea. Create the printer on an MBA that printing works on and add it
    to JSS and then add the printer using JSS. This worked just fine on the MBA
    which I couldn't print from. A good temporary work around since I'll be
    reimaging my MBA with the new image.
