Hi,

This is something i have not come across before.

New machine enrolled into DEP and enrolled into Jamf.

The machine needed a repair install with the Apple Recovery. The recovery wiped the admin rights of the user, and also removed the hidden admin user.

The machine is still accessible in Jamf but i cannot even push down a new admin account.

Has anybody come across this before and found a fix for this.

Not seen this issue before but heres a fix for getting an admin account back on it:

Boot into single user mode (hold left shift when booting)

Type the following:

/sbin/mount -uw /

rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

Reboot & it will show the set up screen so you can recreate an admin user.

NOTE: Only works if you havent locked down the firmware!
