Hey Guys

Not sure if anyone else is having the same issues as us, but when we upgrade users to MacOS Monterory there Microsoft Teams camera stops working and they have to either remove permissions or run

  • sudo killall VDCAssistant

Has anyone seen this issue?

Thanks

Jack

This is not something I have seen with any of our users who have upgraded to macOS Monterey. We patch manage Teams, so they are all using the latest version when they upgrade. What happens when you upgrade Teams, assuming it's not already up to date?

Not happening here, but you might want to try and reset Teams as well as do waht @howie_isaacks mentioned.

This tool will help you do that.

Our team loved it when we added this tool to Self Service.  Our Helpdesk team just points people to SS during onboarding and also within tickets.
