Hello, I am wondering why Apple's MDM reference shows macOS MaxUserDeferrals requires macOS 10.11+, but Jamf Pro's admin guide mentions macOS 12.0+ is required for Download and allow macOS to install later  with deferral?

 

Is one of these linked reference documents incorrect?

We could use the 90 days deferral for Mac Clients running under macOS 11.x, no issues. As far as I know was this feature introduced with the release of Big Sur.

The ignore update deferral has been working for me as well. However, that is a different use-case... I was looking into the installation deferral keys, not the update availability deferral.

As far as I found out, does this feature only work on macOS 12 Clients, I didnt get it to work on macOS 11 Clients. The description mentions macOS 12, maybe another hint that it requires macOS 12:
