How are you guys handling MS Auto Updates without the user being prompted for local Admin credentials? Thanks.

IIRC, MAU v3.9 removed the requirement for admin credentials. Try installing that first, and then test to see if app updates ask for admin creds any more. Also IIRC, the next version (4.0) will allow MAU to update itself without admin creds.

Once you are on MAU 3.9, MAU can update itself without admin credentials. MAU 3.6 stopped requiring admin credentials to update the Office apps themselves.

Since MAU 3.9 has the nasty bug of not respecting the "Automatically Check" setting it is perhaps not the best version to start with.

I would recommend to rather use 3.9.1.

Hope this helps.
