Office 2011 will not work with 10.15 (it's 32bit)
Office 2016 will run on 10.10 to 10.15, reaches end of life on Oct 13th 2020, no extended support.

Latter versions of Office will only be officially supported on "current" and the previous two macOS's
Existing installs that fall of support will stop receiving any new updates. aka 10.12 drops when 10.15 releases.

They will have the app notarizations done by the time it's launched.
It should run well, but will be fully compliant at 10.15 public availability.
If you use it now, please use the feed back options to submit info so they can get it taken care of before 10.15 public availability.
