We have a project where we need to move several 3tb drives of OS X data (creative stuff) to a DFS server. Is there a way to script the conversion automate this and get the data moved over?

+15Do you need to do anything with it? Is this Microsoft DFS shares? Mac supported DFS since 10.7 or so if I remember right. Unless the file names contain bad characters "report 3/7/16 Final" for example. And there's plenty of tools out there to rename files for those characters.
