After three and a half years, I decided it was time to move on so I explored, found and accepted another job. I gave notice on Dec 24, and this is my final week (two weeks is never enough at this level).
Company is Capgemini, client is Warner Bros., it's a great opportunity to manage a 2000+ Mac environment, working for a great Burbank team. Some of you met my boss Mauricio Trigueros when the two of us went to JNUC 2012. He's a great boss (hands off and empowering) and you'll be working with other top notch tower leads.
Happy to answer any questions if you're interested - trust me this is a rare opportunity to work at a high profile multimedia company with a great team led by an awesome Director.
Mauricio should be posting the gig soon.

Don:
Is relocation being offered?
Thanks,
--Andy
Not sure, I'd contact Mauricio. :)
@hkim Thanks, check Twitter. :)
@ don, congratulations on the new gig. Sounds like it was a good move for you. Always happy to see fellow Casper administrators be successful in our field. :)
@mm2279 Thanks Mike, and thank you for all your help...where would we be without each other? :)
FYI: Just in case anyone else is thinking, if you're outside the USA then don't go for this role unless you can get your own US visa ;)
I currently can't.
Don, best of luck at your new employer. Make sure they send you to the JNUC in 2013.
@jhbush1973 and @tkimpton Thanks, hope we see each other at JNUC 2013 too! :)
:)
Not sure we met @ JNUC Don, but across the various forums you've always been a great role model of a welcoming and helpful fellow sysadmin. Best of luck in the new gig. And don't go anywhere in the virtual space. :-)
@don,
where would we be without each other? :)
Trick question, right? Hmm, lemme see. Uh, still managing some Xinet server somewhere? ; )
Congratulations on the new gig, Don!

Thanks, I try...hmmm...but I do remember being pimp-smacked by @jarednichols for a comment I made to a newbie, and yes, I deserved it. :)
@chris.kemp I can't wait. :)
Don
Ha yup, you did. But, you learned.

This is from back what's called, "the day," when Jamf Nation didn't exist and all of this existed on an old skool mailing list.
Ha! I remember that chain Jared. I also remember having Don in CCA training way back when. That was a hoot! And some of the conversations on list about "list etiquette" and "top posting"....those were the days! But alas, he did learn.....
Good luck at the new gig Don!
@jarednichols and @stevewood Ya, this was the post that got me into the hot seat:

The new JAMF Nation forum is great, so much easier to follow and participate in.
I don't miss the old list at all.
Don
I retract all prior references to Don as role model of positive netiquette. You guys have successfully snopes'd the Montalvo legend. Oh and @Don, we're taking down that statue of you outside the Mac lab too buddy. :-)

OMG Don, that was funny.
Reminds me of the day Lion came out...I'm pretty sure that was when I finally dumped the list.
Hehe...well, to @jarednichols' credit, he opened my eyes to the comradre and cohesiveness of the JAMF community.
Reminds me of Miss Vicky (1998 Claris Em@iler-Talk list) when she smacked us all down for discussing non related stuff, however where she was banished to purgatory, @jarednichols actually succeeded and the list is better for it.

As a JAMF that will go name-less says, "It's hard making awesome look this easy."
I do what I can, folks.
