I have read several discussions regarding issues with NetBoot however I haven't been able to get my issue solved so I'm asking the JAMFNation for HELP!!!. I am using a Mac Mini located in our datacenter running OSX 10.9.2 hosting a Netboot Image of 10.9.2 (13C64) and according to the Network team all the pointers/helpers are in place.

Test device A is MacBookPro6,2 (netboot fails)
Test device B is MacBookPro11,3 (netboot works fine)

I ran the following... (on test device A)
tftp 10.252.62.162
tftp> get NetBoot/NetBootSP0/OSX10.9.2(13C64).nbi/i386/booter
Received 510024 bytes in 0.4 seconds

I have also recreated the Netboot Image several times and still get the same behavior....

Is that model on the exclusion list inside the nib bundle?

See this thread for 10.9.2 NetBoot images: https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=9836

I followed the advice of @Lotusshaney, whose relevant blog entry is here: http://blog.designed79.co.uk/?p=1807

Very impressive troubleshooting skills on display in that thread.

Yep. It's all in there!~

I'm not sure how i over looked that, but once again JAMF NATION comes to the rescue!!!

I am getting the same error (tftpd: read: Connection refused) during the netboot process, causing the boot process to time out. however, I have the exactl same image working on another mac mini as the netboot server.

My image has a sub 32mb kernel cache.
I have adjusted to perms for the booter file to be rwx for owner, group and everybody
When I run get /Library/NetBoot/NetBootSP0/image.nbi/i386/booter from tftp I get the following
Error code 512: Access violation

However I seem to be getting this same access error on the mac mini with a working image. Does anyone else have any insight on what else to look at?
