Then I moved it to its correct folder on the server so Netboot can use it.

When I go to Netboot into any laptop it gives me the circle with a slash in
the middle. I did boot normally to the laptop that I wanted to image to s
ee if it sees the netboot image in the startup disk and it does see it.

Also the JAMF server is running Mac Server 10.6.8 (not Lion)

I did run a Command + V to see the netboot process in verbose mode and seen
that it is stuck at "Still waiting for root device"

Not sure what that means, so where did I go wrong?

Instead, install the OS onto an external HD and boot the MBP off of that
external drive. While booted off of the external drive, use Composer to

I find that 99% of the time I have problems with an NBI, it is because I did
not follow these steps. They key to this is that it all needs to be done on
the hardware you are trying to boot, especially if it is new hardware.
