Does anyone know if the github netsus project will install on redhat?

If not is there a documented method to setup the netsus environment using redhat as the base OS?

Thanks.

The NetSUS uses Reposado to provide the SUS and some alternative DHCP/BOOTP for the NetBoot service. Both of which can be searched for (google) on how to setup for Red Hat/CentOS.

(I am currently testing Reposado on CentOS, and have briefly looked in to the NetBoot alternatives)

Reposado on Linux with either NetSUS or Margherita GUI http://macadmincorner.com/setting-up-reposado-and-margarita-on-linux-part-1/

NetBoot on FreeBSD (I'm sure guides for Linux exist too) http://unflyingobject.com/blog/posts/1061

Andrew,

Had any luck with the Redhat/CentOS setup?

Regards,

David

Sorry David,

I setup fully working Reposado SUS on CentOS if that was what you were asking?

There is a Google mail group for bugs and assistance which I keep an eye on.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

No - was interested more in the Netboot side :)

David,

It's on my todo list and I will let you know if/when I get to it!

I do know that you can only host 1 NetBoot image on the server as a limitation.
