Hi,

We're a Windows organisation using folder redirection policies to move home directories onto our network storage. We then also mount these directories on Mac for users to access their files.

Since upgrading to High Sierra and now Mojave we've discovered that those redirected folders are now Locked (right click -> Get Info -> Locked) and therefore users are unable to edit their files. It's only the redirected folders that are locked and user created files or folders are unaffected.

Is there a reason that Mac would be locking these and can I stop it? It's not practical to need to get users to manually unlock their files / folders.

Thanks
Ryan
