I'm wondering if folks have experience with rather than migrating the JSS server simply setting up a new server and re-enrolling the clients to the new JSS.
There are a few reasons that a new deployment might work better in this environment, mainly that besides hosting the JSS the current server (server01.company.com) has several other functions that would require migration as well, and I'd like to separate the JSS from the other services that server01.company.com provides by popping it on it's own nice new dedicated box (server02.company.com).
My assumption is with a the jss set up on server02.company.com it's pretty much starting from scratch (which wouldn't be the end of the world either)- or can you migrate the DB from server01.company.com and just re-enroll all the clients to look at server02.company.com?
Thanks!
