No Self Service Items available

Hey Guys,

We're getting ready for 2017 imaging, and we've got a few problems.

When we image new machines, they have self service on them, but when it opens we just get "No Self Service Items Available". The machine is in JSS, and has checkin history.

There are several policies with this machine in the scope, as well as policies with "All Computers" as a scope. The machine has no policy history.

When I run

sudo jamf enroll -prompt

and supply my JSS credentials, it goes through the usual motions, and then self service brings up items.

We're going to be imaging over 400 machines in about a month, so we'd prefer to have a way to do this automatically, rather than by hand.

Any suggestions?

Is this happening on all machines or a select few?

Have a look at the jamf.log file in /var/log. This will give you an idea of what the Mac is doing when enrolling into the JSS.

Just a shot in the dark, is your Tomcat SSL cert SHA-1?

What does the SHA-1 have to do with it?
